Starting a new tradition of a yearly gathering for women becoming Elders and Wisdom Keepers.
The wild geese retreat will offer a space to reflect on what it truly means to step into the responsibilities of being elders and wisdom keepers at this time and our intent will be for this yearly retreat space to truly nourish , resource, empower and support us to be able to do what we need to in the world, knowing we can return .. when the time is right back to our own flock
This week will be an opportunity for us as wise women and elders to be able to fly 'home' to
We will do deep work, create ceremonies and rituals, have time for fun and relaxarion and
Let's join up and together head home as women of deep beauty, power, wisdom and wicked humour!
Course fees: £580 ....

Accommodation: £560.00 per person.
Accommodation is in single rooms whenever possible, but cannot be guaranteed so please let us know if this is a definate preference for you
All meals are included - even wine if wanted.
Our venue for this unique week is peaceful and secluded. La Roane is set in a 20 acres of woodland
The food is vegetarian and amazing. Meals are prepared with love and artistry by our award winning chef Enzo. He uses locally sourced organic vegetables when possible, some of which come from their own vegetable garden.
Guests are housed in 3 beautiful buildings set around a large oval-shaped pool in a lovely sunny spot in the centre of the garden. It is an ecological fresh water pool cleaned without the use of chlorine or salt. Accommodation is in comfortably furnished single and double rooms. The sauna is freely available and there are plenty of spots for quiet reflection.
Nearest airport is Toulouse Blagnac.
The venue can organize pick up and return.

I have a background in education and family work and has been a UKCP registered psychotherapist, supervisor and freelance trainer since 2000
I have been co facilitating the women's retreat. Women Power Sex and Soul with Helena Lovendal since 2002 and also have also co facilitated an ongoing women's group with Nicky Marshall in the UK which has now been running for nearly 15 years.
Over the last five years I have also worked closely with the red tent project offering mentoring, co facilitation and help with the setting up of new low cost groups for womenin need of support in a variety of different ways.
Together with my husband John Shuttleworth we are co directors of time2 relate which offers in depth work for couples / couple workshops and trainings as well as on going groups for men and women.
I am a mother to three daughters, a step mother to two step sons, and a grandparent to 8 grandchildren ....
I am deeply, deeply grateful for the joys challenges and learnings that as an elder those relationships have all over the years offered me in so many ways.
I am passionate too now about co creating the potential for opportunities for us as women (of a certain age ..!)to be able to share our resources and to learn what it means to really let go ...to allow ourselves be truly nourished and to deeply surrender into nature and to deepen our sense of inner and outer spaciousness so we can choreograph and use our energy and wisdom wisely and with minimum effort for maximum effect in the world ....
Psychotherapist, supervisor and freelance trainer, in private practice in London since 1988. 1990-96, faculty, Inst. of Psychosynthesis, London. Amongst the first qualified Sexual Grounding Therapists®, she has been involved in SGT Internal as SGT Trainer for many years and has been Head of Education in May 2013.
Her life and work is Influenced by extensive travel, living in spiritual and political communities,> studying the Post-Jungians, Psychoanalysis, Psychosynthesis, Systems Theory and Yoga. She owes much to Indigenous teachings and Native American Shamanism,
In 1996 she Co-founded The Centre For Gender Psychology & Creative Couple Work, offering workshops for couples and individuals and providing trainings for professionals in UK, Europe, and Scandinavia. 2002 book, “Sex, Love and the Dangers of Intimacy”, published by HarperCollins. Helena has been offering workshops for women since 1993 and is passionate about women and men reconnecting to their unique gender qualities, beauty and strengths, while learning to honor their differences.
When not in London or working abroad, she lives close to nature in the deep south of France, learning how to grow plants and vegetables and live a sustainable lifestyle and making time for writing.
