.........Wild Geese.........

August 27th till September 3rd 2019

Venue: La Roanne , South West France

Tatiana Shuttleworth & Helena Lovendal

Starting a new tradition of a yearly gathering for women becoming Elders and Wisdom Keepers.

The wild geese retreat will offer a space to reflect on what it truly means to step into the responsibilities of being elders and wisdom keepers at this time and our intent will be for this yearly retreat space to truly nourish , resource, empower and support us to be able to do what we need to in the world, knowing we can return .. when the time is right back to our own flock

This week will be an opportunity for us as wise women and elders to be able to fly 'home' to 'regroup'
for a week every year to be able to share and work with the potential, struggles, joys and challenges of what we are encountering both personally and professionally at this stage in our lives.

We will do deep work, create ceremonies and rituals, have time for fun and relaxarion and play
.....and who knows what else!

Let's join up and together head home as women of deep beauty, power, wisdom and wicked humour!

Course fees: £580 ....

(Early bird payment £500 )

Accommodation: £560.00 per person.

Accommodation is in single rooms whenever possible, but cannot be guaranteed so please let us know if this is a definate preference for you

All meals are included - even wine if wanted.

Our venue for this unique week is peaceful and secluded. La Roane is set in a 20 acres of woodland
with wonderful walks to explore, a paradise for nature lovers.

The food is vegetarian and amazing. Meals are prepared with love and artistry by our award winning chef Enzo. He uses locally sourced organic vegetables when possible, some of which come from their own vegetable garden.

Guests are housed in 3 beautiful buildings set around a large oval-shaped pool in a lovely sunny spot in the centre of the garden. It is an ecological fresh water pool cleaned without the use of chlorine or salt. Accommodation is in comfortably furnished single and double rooms. The sauna is freely available and there are plenty of spots for quiet reflection.

Nearest airport is Toulouse Blagnac.

The venue can organize pick up and return.

Wild Geese

Mary Oliver

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about your despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting —
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

Together with my husband John Shuttleworth we are co directors of time2 relate which offers in depth work for couples / couple workshops and trainings as well as on going groups for men and women.

I am a mother to three daughters, a step mother to two step sons, and a grandparent to 8 grandchildren ....

I am deeply, deeply grateful for the joys challenges and learnings that as an elder those relationships have all over the years offered me in so many ways.

I am passionate too now about co creating the potential for opportunities for us as women (of a certain age ..!)to be able to share our resources and to learn what it means to really let go ...to allow ourselves be truly nourished and to deeply surrender into nature and to deepen our sense of inner and outer spaciousness so we can choreograph and use our energy and wisdom wisely and with minimum effort for maximum effect in the world ....
